Powerhouse Telemark

Project is situated in Porsgrunn, Norway. This building from future is producing more energy than it consumes during its lifetime. It sets new standard for how office buildings should be done. Sloping roof of the building is covered by solar panels. Our scope of work was to design all 11 slabs above the ground. All slabs are post-tensioned using unbonded tendons. Post-tensioning was done by KB Spennteknikk. Design was done according to Eurocode using Ram Concept. Each level has got different shape. Slabs are typically 250mm deep with spans up to 10m.
